The ground rules for playing in and building out the realm.
These terms cover your use of Forge — The Sword of Folklore, operated by Neather Realm Software, Inc. By creating an account or using the game, you agree to them.
Keep your login details private and use an email address you control. You are responsible for activity on your account. Access is personal, so please do not share or resell accounts.
Access to the game and to KickStarter campaign tokens are sold through our payment provider, and their terms apply to the transaction. Because tokens are consumed as you play, they are not refundable once spent. Purchases are tied to the account that made them.
You keep ownership of the characters, buildings, items, creatures and city layouts you author. By submitting them you give the studio permission to display and store them inside the shared world, and to review, edit or decline submissions so that they fit the setting. Content that is unlawful, hateful, or taken from someone else's work without permission will be removed.
Do not attack or overload the service, attempt to reach data that is not yours, or use automated tools to gain an advantage that other players do not have. Do not harass other players in names, descriptions or submissions.
The realm is a work in progress. Trades, economies, regions and mechanics may be adjusted, and a village or bloodline may be reshaped as the simulation grows. Features can be added, changed or retired, and the service may be unavailable while we work on it.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. The game is provided as-is, without a warranty that it will always be available or free of faults.
